Kate Brownstein, M.S., CCC-SLP founded A Care Above Therapy services in 2022 in order to make quality, virtual gender-affirming speech therapy services available to everyone. Kate has been a licensed Speech Language Pathologist for a decade, holding an ASHA certificate of clinical competence since 2013. Since this time, Kate has worked with many members of the LGBTQIA+ community targeting gender affirming voice therapy. Kate takes a holistic approach to therapy, using both evidenced-based and individualized methods based on your unique needs. No two people are alike, and this journey looks different for everyone. Kate will work with you on YOUR individual goals and desires, in order to help you find your true voice.
