You deserve to be heard and we are here to help you claim your true voice. We support all members of the LGBTQ+ community through our individualized and culturally competent program.  Voice therapy goes far beyond evidence-based skills and we address the whole person through a supportive and safe space to explore your identity and expression. We understand the importance of feeling comfortable in your own skin and we are here to support you every step of the way in feeling confident and finding your true self.

Adult Fluency

Speak freely and with confidence through our adult stuttering treatment program. We will address all of the factors impacting your communication through our person-centered approach to fluency. With a combination of evidence-based and personalized approaches, we address the whole person through supportive and individualized treatment. Never again should you feel the need to limit how you communicate. Let us help you free your potential to express yourself fully.

Accent Modification

It is important to remember that accents are not a disorder. Accents are part of who we are. They are a key element to our personal identity. While accents can provide a sense of pride and identity, they can also at times create frustration in social situations, relationships and in the work place. Feeling the need to constantly repeat ourselves can decrease our self-esteem and well-being.

4

Spoken Language

There are many factors that can impact a person's spoken language. Aphasia is a common disorder impacting a person's ability to understand, speak, communicate, read, or write. Aphasia often occurs following damage to the language centers of the brain, often due to a stroke, traumatic brain injury, brain tumor or progress brain disorders. While there is no medication for Aphasia, our individualized treatment approach will combine skill improvement and strategy implementation in order to participate in things most important to YOU.

5

Articulation

Difficulty producing specific sounds can be carry-over from childhood or newly developed as an adult. Whatever the cause, being unable to produce certain sounds or being regularly asked to repeat yourself can cause frustration, anxiety or hesitation when communicating. Our individualized treatment approach provides the tools and strategies needed to correct your pronunciation. Even if therapy was attempted as a child with limited results, adults often are able to overcome obstacles due to increased motivation and understanding of technical aspects of speech.

6

Memory & Executive Functioning

Whether it's time management, organization, long or short term memory, people may find it difficult to participate fully in their life. This can impact all aspects of your day, including work, socializing, medication/appointment/finance management or organization. Impairments may be due to a variety of conditions, including Dementia, Progressive diseases, Right-sided Brain Injury or other impairments. Our individualized treatment approach will combine skill improvement and strategy implementation in order to get back to the things most important to YOU!
